Exhibition: July 2008
The
Atlantic City Art Center will present a combination of
local and regional artists to be on display for the month of July.
Featured for the month will be
Ruth E. Formica, Jane D'Orto and Dominick Spolitino, the artists
will be present at a meet the artists' reception on Sunday, July 13
from 1-3PM at the Center on New Jersey and the
Boardwalk. Refreshments for the reception will be provided by
Formica Bros. Bakery of Atlantic City.
Ruth Formica of
Margate
paints landscape, flowers and still life in oils, watercolor and
gouache, her work has been exhibited extensively in Atlantic County.
Jane D'Orto focuses on the use of oils and pastels, to paint items
and scenes of ordinary activities with a creative and introspective
look. Dominick Spolitino is an accomplished photographer of outdoor
scenes, focusing on nature's interactions, beauty and perfections.
His work makes a strong statement on the importance of protecting
our wildlife and environments.
